The Death Valley Days
Although unrelated to RV's, there are just a few of my past projects that I had to put on the website. This one I built way back in 2008. At that time, it was the largest privately held solar array in the United States. Built almost 300 feet below sea level i Death Valley, the Furnace Creek 1 Mega Watt tracking solar farm is still cranking out the power....
Concentrated PV -
This was an interesting time in my Technician life. I was a field technician working on the largest concentrated PV trackers in the world. 55 feet tall and 75 feet wide all hydraulically controlled. I traveled to these sites all across the southwest keeping them up and running at maximum production.
During the period of 2001 - 2013, I owned and operated my own solar company specializing in off-grid power systems. I had literally hundreds of customers all over the world. RV, marine, small cabin and remote telecom all the way up to multi million dollar beach front off-grid homes down in Cabo San Lucas. Good times....
